The Basic Life Support Provider course is designed to provide Healthcare Provider or layperson with the skills to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages (adult/child/infant), use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely effective manner.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider digital ebook $14.00 or print manual 16.00 may be purchased at the AHA bookstore. Links provided in receipt.

SKILLS SESSION: This in-person 30-minute skills session is a hands-on psychomotor learning evaluation—1 student per session.
Part 2: In-person hands-on practice.   
Part 3: Evaluation. $45.00.

The American Heart Association ACLS update option is targeted to those Advanced Cardiac Life Support Providers who use ACLS in their practice setting as a part of their job duties. The Heartcode® ACLS Online™ with in-person skills session is recommended for inexperienced providers or those that require the initial course.

If would like to add BLS Provider to your ACLS certification, please complete the HeartCode® BLS Online Portion. Your employer will require both certifications, BLS Provider and ACLS Provider.

AHA Heartcode® ACLS Online™. INITIAL | RECERTIFICATION | UPDATE.

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

RECEIVE American Heart Association ACLS eCARD upon completion.

Expired certifications are welcome to attend the ACLS renewal classroom ($150.00) but will not be eligible for remediation. A score of 84% must be achieved on exam and skills testing in one attempt.

Heartcode® ACLS Online™  is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). HeartCode® ACLS Part 1 uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. Students are presented with a team dynamics lesson, 10 ACLS hospital-based case scenarios, and a written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on ACLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA ACLS Instructor, meets the requirements for obtaining an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card.

Heartsaver® First Aid with CPR and AED course is designed for workplace training, for first-responders and others who are required to complete credentialed first aid with CPR and AED training. Training includes infant, child, and adult training.

Target audience:
Boat captains/crew members-US Coast Guard  (AMERHA-216), corporate employees, school teachers, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards, daycare workers,  and other individuals who want or need first aid training. NOT recommended for students entering healthcare/allied healthcare professions or CNAs. Register for BLS Provider.
